Try a question

Hand-picked examples to show the style. In the app, questions are generated for each child’s level and get harder or easier as they answer.

English · KS2

Which word completes the sentence? “They left ___ coats on the bus.”

Science · KS3

How Algy adapts

Algy tracks every topic separately. Get a few right in a row and that topic steps up in difficulty; get a few wrong and it eases off and explains. A topic is marked mastered once your child has shown they have it, and Algy moves them on to something they have not nailed yet.

What you see as a parent

A parent dashboard covers every child on the family account: time practised this week, topics mastered, anyone who has gone quiet, and a plain “what to work on next” for each child and subject. It is built around where the gaps are, not points.

XP rewards learning, not grinding

Only correct answers earn XP, and harder questions earn more. Once a topic is mastered it pays a much lower flat rate, so repeating easy questions is not a shortcut to a high rank. Wrong answers never cost XP and there is no way to “fail”, so kids keep trying instead of guessing and moving on.

Six subjects, every year group

Each subject follows the real curriculum for the country you pick, from the first years of school through to GCSE and high school. Tap a subject for its full list of stages.
